I happened to have had a Smoothie for dinner and it was calling to me. I have very deep set eyes, so I do tend to gravitate toward bedroom eyes.  I am preparing myself to try actual faces.  Facial shading really interests me and I am ready to try a portrait.  Karen's watercolor was inspiring.  I might start with a photo reference before I try a live model.

It really shows that this was drawn off the cuff, instead of drawn from an actual reference.  Maybe I will try again tomorrow.




I started to sketch this in pencil, then switched to my art pens.  I really need to get more comfortable with them.
