Inventory Software only works when you use it
I have not been very good about updating and checking my Organized Expressions software lately. Big mistake! I just paid over $30 for the Effie Mitrofanis Casalguidi Style and Linen Embroidery book...only to discover I had already bought a copy! ARGH!
Then when I was updating things, I discovered two copies of Inspirations number 45 and 46. Plus a couple of Australian Embroidery and Cross Stitch. I guess I am going to have to cave in and out them up for sale on eBay, but I have been so hesitant to start selling again. I did not even break even when I cleared out a bunch of yarn a few months ago. *sigh*
Anyway, the moral of the story is, always keep your inventory software up to date and take a print out with you when you go shopping!

ARGH! That hurts...
I do that with quilting books.. very bad and expensive, too. I feel your pain. I've ended up given away my second copies to ease it a bit of that pain because, as you say, ebay can be a painful experience and major time sucker, too. Try Amazon? They have a resale thing.
