EDM: Challenge 67

I found the perfect shoe to start challenge number 1, but I saw that a new challenge had been posted. I decided to take on challenge 67 (draw something mom) first and save the shoe for tomorrow.

When it comes to my mom, there are a lot of things that remind me of her, but I see the ring every day. She wore it for more than thirty years after her divorce from my father, so I saw it on her for most of my life. She promised it to me if I lost weight and I held her to that promise when I came home in size 8 blue jeans. Of course, I got sick with thyroid disease a few years ago and put on some weight. I doubt I will ever be that small again, but I plan to swim three days a week until I have some decent stamina, then I will add in some weight-training.
