Joss Whedon is my hero...

Okay, I admit it. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly. I am anxiously awaiting the release of Serenity tomorrow, which is no big surprise considering the title of this post. I have a couple of seasons of BVS on DVD, but since getting TiVo I just record, watch & delete. In some cases, over and over again. :-)

I am a big fan of the willing suspension of disbelief. I like to disengage from reality and hey, I am a word hound. When I took an upper level play writing class, one of the graduate students told me that dialogue was my forte. I often wondered if it was meant to be a sly dig...but of course I never could take a compliment. But one of the things I love about Joss Whedon's characters seem to relate to one another like real people, gaffes included. LOL

I tend to read a lot of Mysteries and Non-Fiction. I tend to watch a lot of Sci-Fi, Horror and Crime Dramas. The good thing about TV is that I can multi-task. It is nice to knit, spin, or stitch while something interesting is on in the background.

Anyway, that is a little non-crafting slice of me.
