I'm so itchy....
Well, I have been quiet this weekend, because I have been doped up on bendryl. The sweet, tiny dogs must have walked through poison ivy and brought it into my home. It really sucks.
I spent a lot of time watching things I recorded on TiVo and not so much time working on anything craft related. Well, I made a wrist distaff out of the dyed Look to the Cookie roving. I'll try to post a photo tomorrow.
My husband has been going out into the yard and spraying all the poison ivy, since he is not sensitive to it. He has also been stuck hearing me whine a lot. Poor guy, how does he stand it?

hehe,...you haven't lost your sense of humor despite...
*hugs*hope you feel better soon!
I clicked over here from the Spindlers site, and read about your poison oak... NO FUN! I got it 3 or 4 times when I was in the last months of my pregnancy with my youngest son. You mentioned that your husband is not allergic, that's where I got it from - my SO at the time was not allergic, he was doing some poison oak removal jobs, and even though he took a shower and changed his clothes before he came home, I still got!! More than once!!! Man - I will never forget the misery. I did get a lot of quilting done at the time. Something to do with my hands to stop the itch, and keep my mind occupied.
My doctor ended up prescribing cortisone pills, though I believe Prednisone is used a lot too, it really cleared up the last outbreak very quickly.
Hope it gets better soon! Tell your hubby to stay out of the nasty stuff.
Oh, and my brother isn't allergic either. He used my mom's washing machine once after he'd been exposed. She got it from doing her clothes in the *next* load of laundry. Really really nasty stuff!
