What a long strange trip it's been

On Spindlers, Nanette posted about her piercings and Sharon wondered if she would go for a tattoo next. Well, it is time to admit my secret, I had some trouble with turning 30 and got this:

It's a custom job...I went to Biloxi to get it...I figure any place with a Navy Base is a good bet for decent tattoo artists. LOL My mother still doesn't know about it and my father used to lecture me about Hepatitis C every chance he could after seeing it. Oh, well. :-)

On the fiber front, I had trouble plying this last spindle of green mystery wool...it got out of control and broke several times. It might have been a case of bad timing...I was pretty pooped from working on the other house...I used a dremel for about three hours straight...so maybe it was just a bad time to be using my hands!

My friends made it into town and we all ate dinner together, then came back and watched Monk. :-) Our very first house guests. LOL In a few minutes we will head over the other house and to Home Depot and get to work.

(LOL) Does your mom read your blog?

When I am very tired (as I am now) I don't even attempt to work on my projects because I know I will end up making a mistake. I did a lot of "moving" myself this weekend (you'll understand what I mean when you read my blog)I am more convinced now than ever that if we have to move to another house, someone other than me will have to do all of the packing and moving...I will go on vacation and return when it's all done.

Heck no my mom doesn't read my blog! :-D You are never too old to be scolded by a parent. I am going to post some photos of the house and the wool that my friend and I dyed this weekend when I get home tonight. Well, it might be sort of late, because I need to get by the Goodwill donation box (I have a station wagon sized load) and the house,
